RSI (Repetitive Strain Injuries)

RSI usually appears when one part of the body is doing the same task for too long such as typing, gripping tools, lifting, or even holding a phone in the same position each day. Most people tell us it starts as a dull irritation and slowly becomes something they can’t ignore. When you come in, we walk through the movements that stir things up, look at how the area behaves under light pressure and get a sense of what your usual day involves. This helps us understand whether the issue sits in the muscle, tendon or the way the joint is being loaded. During our RSI care, we:

  • Look closely at the motions you repeat through the day and how the tissue reacts
  • Use steady, hands-on work to calm irritated areas without pushing into sharp pain
  • Introduce small, practical drills you can weave into work breaks or daily tasks
  • Adjust technique and pacing depending on how sensitive the tissue feels that day

RSI management works best when changes feel achievable, not overwhelming. We keep the plan simple, review your response in each session and help you find a pattern of movement that lets the irritated area settle while still keeping you active.
