Headaches & Migraine (Muscle-Related)

Tension headaches often originate from stiffness in the neck, jaw or upper back. We assess posture and movement to see which structures are involved, then use precise release around the suboccipital muscles and shoulder region. Mobilisation is added when the upper cervical spine feels restricted. Cupping may be used lightly if superficial tissues appear compressed.

What we do for headache-related tension:

  • Release targeted trigger points linked to head pain
  • Apply careful pressure to suboccipital areas
  • Adjust treatment intensity for migraine-sensitive clients
  • Provide simple movement changes to reduce day-to-day strain
